The League of Legends rating system has changed several times over the years. As with any online ranking game, many factors affect your place. Riot Games even added a new level below bronze, the former lowest, known as iron.
League of Legends: How Ranking System Works
Although some players still hold the cardboard rdquo; Joke rating, the overall quality of each rank has improved significantly since the early days of the system. Let's look at what the League of Legends rating system is, how it works and its various parts.
Prior to the current level and ranking system, LoL used what many other games do: the ELO system. Such systems calculate the relative skills of the player and turn to chess and the creator of ELO Arpad Elo.
Although the current system still uses league points, there are remnants of the original method. Unfortunately, Riot never revealed exactly how they calculated ELO earlier.
Solo Queue.
This is an ordinary everyday one-time person in line. You can play in any position and will be placed among random people of approximately the same rank and MMR as your own.
Duo Queue.
Duo Queue is similar to Solo Queue, except this time you have a buddy. Many couples will come together in a duet on the lower lane as champions of advertising and support.
But you can play any role you want. Some players will accuse others of "strengthening". (where a high-level player is standing in line with a low-ranked player) with such a queue.
