The best time to visit Kedarnath is from May to June and September to October. It would be suggested to avoid monsoon season because due to heavy rainfall, sometimes even land sliding could occur.

How to Perform Special Pooja at Kedarnath?

Devotees who are on a Char dham Yatra from Delhi can also participate in special Pooja at Kedarnath by following the guidelines. You can do Maha Abhishek Pooja and Rudrabhishek Pooja of Lord Shiv that can be only performed between 4:00 AM and 6:30 AM in the early morning. You can also book for Pooja through their official online portal.

Charges of Maha Abhishek Pooja is approx. Rs4500 while the rate of the Rudra Abhishek may cost you approx. Rs1300.

All you need to do is visit their website, choose the seva based on your budget and requirements, pay the amount, then, you will get a slip which you can download in your phone to show the receipt at the kedarnath temple.
