If the traveller needs to change the name on the ticket, they should go to the United website and click the "manage booking" tab.
Find the change button under the manage booking option and enter the passenger's name and booking number.

Once you're done, go to the booking details page and use the edit function to modify the name according to United Airlines change name on ticket policy.
To correct the misspelt name in the reservations, follow the online instructions, then save the modifications.
Additionally, you can call the airline's customer service line and request name changes; after you do, the adjustment will be changed.
