For the treatment of depressive conditions and other mental disorders, Xanax pills containing 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 2 mg or 3 mg of the active substance may be prescribed.Xanax inhibits spinal reflexes, limbic system, thalamus and hypothalamus in poly synaptic form.
