DIC IDEAL Marks Earth Day with Green Action and Community Impac

In April 2025, DIC Ideal Chemi Plast (DIC IDEAL) Team took two meaningful actions that reflect our commitment to environmental sustainability and social contribution.

Celebrating Earth Day: A Global Movement, A Local Impact

Earth Day, first launched in 1970 in response to growing environmental concerns in the U.S., has since evolved into a global movement that inspires people and organizations to act for the planet.

On April 22, 2025, DIC IDEAL joined millions around the world to mark this day with a purposeful initiative – planting five trees in the site’s green belt area, a zone of vegetation surrounding the facility designed to improve air quality, reduce noise, and support local biodiversity. 

Corporate Social Responsibility: Giving back to the Community

On April 24, 2025, DIC IDEAL donated to a local school, approximately 9 km from the SUPA facility. The team installed a water purification plant for the school’s students—many of whom previously had to carry water bottles from home every day. 

This installation provides access to clean, safe drinking water and has also reduced the average weight of students’ school bags by up to 1 kg—making their daily commute lighter and healthier.

Through these simple yet impactful actions – planting trees and supporting clean water access – DIC IDEAL reinforces the importance of environmental responsibility and community care.
