To safeguard consumers and guarantee ethical business activities, Consumer Courts and Consumer Forums were founded. Special courts known as "consumer courts" were created to settle issues involving consumers. The Consumer Protection Act of 1986 was used to establish them. Whereas the Consumer Forum serves as a venue for consumers to file complaints and obtain guidance and assistance regarding their legal rights, the main goal of these courts is to promptly and economically resolve consumer issues.
