Hello, my name is Nitin Krish from India. One of my favorite hobbies is reading books. And here I like to tell you debentures definition. As per Sec. 2(12), A debenture contains bonds, other securities of a company, and debenture stock. It is issued in the way of a document or you can say a certificate. Only under the seal of a company, the debentures are issued. The date of repayment is also written on it. And usually, a debenture holder doesn't have any right to vote in the meetings of a company or firm.
