Fukong Interactive, a Chinese company and current owner of RuneScape developer Jagex, is seeking restructuring and will therefore sell some or most of its equity.

However, sales are not static. A representative of Jagex said that his parent company informed China's financial market that Fukong Interactive is considering selling many of its assets and that the previous plans will undergo major changes.

The studio was acquired by Fukong Interactive for $300 million in 2016 and may be included in the list of partially purchased assets. The statement said: "The sale of assets is one of Fukong's plans for Cheap RuneScape Gold major changes."

Despite the downturn in its parent company, Jagex has been working for several years due to its partnership with RuneScape. As of last summer, online games have created more than $1 billion in lifetime revenue since its inception in 2001. PCGamesInsider noted that the company's 2018 profit increased 51% year-on-year, setting a new high of $56.7 million. Through his efforts, RuneScape has also reached its peak from the bottom.

“No matter what the outcome of the Fukong restructuring, Jagex is constantly implementing the short-term and long-term strategy of the RuneScape franchise,” the company’s statement said. “Jagex is not in a better state, even if we expand our talent base based on Jagex Partners' third-party publishing program and provide important new content to your players, you can invest further in the coming year.
