Optical fiber distribution box is divided into open optical fiber distribution box and dark optical fiber distribution box. As its name implies, open optical fiber distribution box is installed on the surface of the wall.  Therefore, if you want to install the optical fiber distribution box on the wall, it is not easy to loosen, you should fix it with open-ended bolts (expanding pipe bolts) to determine the bolt length according to the embedding depth, which is generally (75 ~ 150 mm), the sum of the thickness of the box bottom plate, the thickness of nuts and washers, plus a "head allowance" of about 5 mm.  For the "mini" optical fiber distribution box, wood bricks (four corners of the distribution board are installed or buried according to the position of the optical fiber distribution box) can also be buried at the installation place, and then the optical fiber distribution box or the distribution board can be fixed at the wood bricks with wood screws.

On the contrary, the concealed optical fiber distribution box is installed in the wall where the optical fiber distribution box is embedded. In order to better "cover" the optical fiber distribution box in the dark with the wall, the holes reserved during wall building should be about 20mm larger than the length and width of the optical fiber distribution box respectively. The reserved depth is the thickness of the optical fiber distribution box plus the thickness of plastering on the inner wall of the hole.  When the optical fiber distribution box is buried, the box can be fixed by filling concrete between the box and the wall.
