My query could apply to additional game modes although I'm especially talking about mycareer. I had been planning on getting the present gen mamba edition when XSX releases, so I could have both gen copies. I've been reading about 2K MT on this sub and it seems like the next gen 2K21 will be an almost completely different game. I can live with this although it sucks to hear that we might lose mycareer advancement. Most of my buddies who have NBA 2K21 won't be receiving the newest consoles when they release. That's a dealbreaker for me if I can't play with my buddies. Any insight would be appreciated.

Next-gen consoles can play also the current-gen game and the next-gen game. For example, you could play MyLeague and MyTeam on next-gen but perform MyCareer on current-gen with buddies who do not update, along with your VC earnings would be from the shared wallet. Current-gen consoles may only play with with with the current-gen game. It is like they're trying to shoot themselves. They keep taking it up stating they constructed a brand-new game from the ground up which I think is a load of bs. This is one of the stupidest decisions Ive ever seen in a match. I am exactly the same op. My friends wont be purchasing the new system at least not for a year or so but I want it daily 1. I'd want the next gen game but rather I need to get the present gen so I can play with my pals. Ensure it is a free upgrade like every other firm you greedy fucks.

I get its messed up, but this is how it had been from xbox 360 - xbox one or ps3 - ps4 with 2K14 too. Even worse really cuz you HAD to purchase no $100 choice for both, each seperately. If they lie, they could really get screwed. Only get the Kobe edition, you receive 200k VC complete, it is worth it alone just for that.

Do I wait patiently for ps5 version or just get the mamba variant and transition to ps5 when it comes out since accounts and vc transfer only cant perform together. The PS4 mamba version will provide 200K VC to you. 100K upfront and 100K more when you get on the PS5. I was looking for that advice about the vc. Heard it was 100 each then discovered it was just on ps4.
