• Differences in technical skills

There is a difference in technical skills that a web designer and a graphic designer must have. They must have coding skills. However, graphic designers should have knowledge of software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, or CorelDRAW. • Dynamic

Graphic designs are static whereas web designs are dynamic as once the graphics are designed and printed, it becomes difficult to change. However, web designs can be changed easily and it has the power to adapt and can be modified as per trends and evolution. Most of the company also modify their web designs and change them after a gap of a year or two,  so that their designs stay relevant and the user experience becomes better.

• Interactiveness

There is also a difference between both based on interactiveness. Websites are more interactive than graphics. It's not those graphics do not communicate but they are static. Web design helps users to interact with the websites and the interaction can be done by clicking on the call to action button or filling out an inquiry form. But here in this point, we find very less interaction in the graphics designed by graphic designers. Graphic designs are comparatively lesser interactive as it does not changes when anyone interacts.

• Typography

Typography is still a limitation in the case of web design. There has been an evolution in web designs but it may happen that while building a website, the browser of the user might not support the font specified in CSS and this is not the same when it comes to graphic design as any typeface can be used as per your choice and as the font is already installed in the device, it would come out actually the same at the time of print. 

• Ongoing experience

The website once designed is not finished because things start from there as it requires constant updates and maintenance. There are continuous changes that require so that websites are designed according to the consumer or the user who is visiting them. However, graphic designs do not require such involvement, once the graphics are designed, things end there. There might be times, they might require modifications but once the graphics are modified, it is done.
