For configuring your Linksys Velop mesh setup, there are mainly two methods which are through the Linksys smart app and without the app. For both processes, you will need to use your device and the Velop network along with its login credentials. In the first approach, install the Linksys smart WiFi app from the app store on your networked device and perform the process by using its on-screen directions. Make sure to install the official and the latest version of the app so that there will be no obstructions in the process.
On the other hand, for the other process, that is Linksys Velop setup without app you will require to use any web browser on the network-connected device. Once you open the web browser, search the Linksys default web or IP address in the search field. After visiting the login window, fill in the username and password in the field and reach the setup portal later. Meanwhile, attach the other satellites to the Linksys Velop main node using the ethernet wires. After that, choose the Linksys Velop network from the list and fill in the password and click on the Extend option.
