It is still subjective, even if it may be based on the external world. Instead of attempting to reproduce or replicate things seen in nature, abstract art is a type of self-reflection that can make references to anything. It organizes space into a piece of art by utilizing the inherent beauty of color and form, expressionistic approaches, or straightforward geometric shapes.
