Follow these instructions to reset the Linksys range extender. The Reset button is located on the side panel of the extender. Press and hold the Reset button for around 10 seconds with a paperclip or a similar object until the LED light begins to flicker. The extender's factory preset settings will be reinstated by taking this procedure.
Let's now proceed with the Linksys RE6700 setup procedure. Connect the extender to an electrical socket close to your WiFi router. Connect a WiFi-capable device, such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone, to the "Linksys Extender Setup" default network. Open a web browser, and in the address box type "http://extender.linksys.com". For the setup procedure, adhere to the on-screen instructions. The extender's new password must be created, and you must choose your current WiFi network. Once you've entered your network's WiFi password, the setup procedure may be completed. After finishing, move the router to the ideal signal extender position.
