Sustainable Tourism Programme Completed

Publicado por Sail Barbary     17 de noviembre de 2023

Cuerpo

The first Sustainability program for the Taupo region finished this week with speeches made by eleven operators about achievements made during the 12 week programme.

On Tuesday I completed a 12 week Tourism Industry Aotearoa Sustainable Tourism Programme alongside eleven other Taupo Operators.

We presented our achievements with short speeches detailing sustainable changes we are making in our businesses and plan to continue making into the future.

The presentations were a beginning of our collective long term hopes for a sustainable region. I hope to see other groups go through the process in the near future.

Lava Glass were our hosts for the afternoon. We celebrated with delicious platters and prosecco. My thanks to TIA and DGLT-Love Taupo
