Though almost all Linksys velop comes with the WPS feature, which makes the setup process simple. But, there are also two other setup methods that you can use in an alternative way, which are the web-based setup and the WiFi app methods. For the first method, there will be a need to go to the web setup portal on your networked device web browser. Whereas, in the other way, you will need to get the Linksys WiFi app on your smartphone. So, take your device and launch its app store to get the Linksys app for further processing. Here you can either take your Android mobile or iOS device.
Once you get and open the app, you will need to do the login first as this is a requirement to visit the setup window. Insert the username and password in the required fields and click on the Login button. Ensure you don’t make any spelling mistakes while inserting those details. From the next page, you will be able to do the velop setup. However, if you fail in this method, choose another one which is the Linksys velop setup without app. Go to any web browser and set up the velop using the screen directions.
