Good morning Royce Freeman Jersey , Broncos Country. The list of things that went wrong for the Denver Broncos and their 2018 campaign are almost innumerable. Poor coaching, tenuous play-calling and head-scratching decisions on a routine basis made a tough schedule extremely difficult to overcome — but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Perhaps above all else, the Broncos’ injury-marred roster was the primary culprit in the team’s overwhelming demise this season. In the course of a month the Broncos lost three starting players on their offensive line in Ronald Leary, Matt Paradis and Max Garcia. While Garcia’s caliber of play has left many fans wanting more, the loss of Leary and Paradis (two Pro-Bowl caliber players) were significant. While Denver’s patchwork offensive line impressed on a handful of occasions, it’s right to contemplate how much better the team could have been offensively had their line not been in flux due to injury.Losing receiving targets Jake Butt, Jeff Heuerman and Emmanuel Sanders also inhibited the Broncos’ ability to succeed on offense, especially in respect to the passing game. Not only that, but the ‘No Fly Zone’ became the ‘Frequent Fly Zone’ at a rapid pace. The never-ending “Who’s who?” in their secondary made it hard to stop any opposing team. Without question, replenishing the Broncos’ talent pool on the back-end of their defense will be a priority for John Elway and the front office this coming offseason. Just when you think it couldn’t get any worse, arguably the team’s most impressive player in Phillip Lindsay was lost for the last game of the season with a wrist injury. It may be just one game, but it symbolizes the never-ending woes of an injury-marred season that was just too much for the Broncos to bounce back from. Here’s to hoping that next year’s team can remain healthy and with a new head coach and revamped roster on the horizon — things will get better relatively quickly. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and am wishing you and yours the best in the coming year. As always, thank you for reading and here’s today’s offering of Horse Tracks.Horse TracksBroncos' Case Keenum few results against Oakland RaidersA final look at the Broncos’ 27-14 loss to the Oakland Raiders on Monday.Broncos coach Vance Joseph's hot seat burning after loss to RaidersThe Broncos are 11-20 in Joseph’s two-season tenure, and Monday’s loss to the Raiders won't help his cause.Raiders show sparks of promise in win over Broncos - NFL.comPlaying in what might have been their final game at the Oakland Coliseum, the Raiders delivered a gutsy performance against the Broncos in a game devoid of playoff implications.2019 NFL Draft order: Cardinals No. 1; Broncos close in on top 10 - NFL.comWhich pick in the 2019 NFL Draft does your team hold, and what are the top needs for all 32 clubs? The Eagles are still alive in the postseason race, thanks to the again unexpected play of Nick Foles. It wouldn’t be the holidays after all without a little St. Nick magic.Tennessee Titans to put DL Jurrell Casey on IR with strained MCLThe Titans are expected to put defensive lineman Jurrell Casey on IR with a strained MCL in his left knee, meaning the Pro Bowler will not be available when Tennessee faces the Colts in a win-and-you're-in game on Sunday.JuJu Smith-Schuster takes blame for Pittsburgh Steelers lossSteelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, who caught 11 passes for 115 yards Sunday  , took the blame for a costly loss due to his fourth-quarter fumble. "That loss was on me," he tweeted.Denver Broncos call it quits in week five How do you even begin to talk about the Broncos loss to the Jets on Sunday? I’d like to paint the Broncos as the victims in this. The poor, unsuspecting team from Denver got run over by a better and more dominant team. Sunday’s result was something unfortunate that happened to them. Awwww...However, that’s not entirely the case. Sunday’s loss was an event of the Broncos own making. They are a team without vision. A team without leadership. A rudderless boat spinning in circles praying for a catastrophic leak or a mercy waterfall. Will someone please tell me what it is that Vance Joesph does well? What is that thing that he does that keeps him around? Surely a defensive genius wouldn’t have that side of the ball so ill prepared that they would allow big play after big play on the way to making it an historic day for the Jets franchise... with a rookie quarterback and a retread Cleveland Browns running back. The defense was awful. Von Miller is missing. Chubb is a no show. Bradley Roby looks like he’d be better suited to be doing just about anything other than playing football. You would think that he would get tired running the length of the field on damn near every play. What, exactly, was the game plan? Offensively, Case Keenum is not as advertised. When he was acquired, the Broncos PR machine did a damn good job of convincing Broncos Country that Case Keenum wasn’t Case Keenum. I’ll be damned if Case Keenum hasn’t shown up to every game this season. His throws are off target, timid, and pedestrian. Although, it’s not solely his fault. Despite a run-game the likes of which Broncos Country hasn’t seen in years, coaches can’t seem to remember to hand the ball to the running backs. Tight ends? Pish posh... Who needs ‘em? There is no cohesive plan to this offense and it shows. Watching Vance Joseph coach is like watching a drunk person try to figure out a Rubix Cube. With the unbeaten Rams coming to town next Sunday, the only way for the Broncos to have a fighting chance is shake things up and get the players’ attention. Unfortunately, we’ve seen this tragedy before, Broncos fans. There will be finger pointing, contrition, and, in the end, another embarassing loss to show for all of it. This doesn’t end well.
