Flat Screen Printer Avoids Abrasion

Posted By licheng flatprinter     June 30, 2021

Body

The dots increase every time Stenter prints. In fact, it is the essence of flexographic printing. But when it becomes too much, you will encounter problems.

Appearance: The image looks darker and sometimes the resolution is lower than expected.

The most likely cause: You may just have too much pressure between the printing sleeve/cylinder/plate and the substrate. Try the impression of "kissing", if stress is really the problem, your points should return to normal. Another possible cause is that corrosive inks, solvents, and/or cleaning agents cause the sleeve or printing plate to thicken or swell. You can avoid swelling by choosing a round (ITR) elastomer sleeve that is very durable and resistant to swelling.

Here are some other potential causes:

Ink viscosity is incorrect
The reticulated unit is too large
Dip the point into the anilox roller (cell count is too low)
Flat Screen Printer press is damaged or worn
Dirty image carrier
If a board is used, the thickness of the installation tape is incorrect or air is entrained
