    小兒長“馬牙”是怎麼回事？出生不久的寶寶牙床上長出幾個米粒樣的白色小硬結，這就是人們常說的“馬牙”。是牙齒在發育中殘留的牙板上皮沒有被吸收而形成的角化物，醫學上稱為“上皮珠”。

    

    它附著在牙床上，呈針頭或粟米狀的白色或黃白色突起，可出現一個、幾個甚至幾十個。“馬牙”不是牙，它沒有牙根，也不影響以後正常乳牙的萌出生長，因此不需要治療。
