      牙齒松動是人體最早的衰老表現。人們一般將面部出現皺紋、頭發變白作爲衰老的象征,其實,人體衰老最早的表現是牙齒松動。

      我國傳統醫學認爲齒爲骨之標。醫學研究證明,人在20歲左右就開始出現衰老,骨衰老的表現是指骨質脫鈣所致的骨丟失。骨丟失進程最快的是在50~70歲之間。隨著年齡的增長,骨組織脫鈣現象逐漸加重,致使骨質密度降低,骨皮質變薄,骨骼的韌性和彈性降低,從而造成牙槽骨質疏松。骨丟失的骨骼最易導致牙周組織纖維附著功能降低,結果表現爲牙齒松動,牙齒松動後常常不易恢複,易形成牙周炎,造成牙齒脫落,影響咀嚼功能、全身健康,給老年人帶來極大的痛苦。



      老年人牙齒松動爲骨衰老所致,預防骨衰老最好的辦法是進行體育鍛煉,通過鍛煉可以促進血液循環,增加骨骼的營養,提高鈣質的吸收和利用,減輕骨質脫鈣,延緩骨衰老。不過,在進行運動時應根據健康情況,選擇性地參加散步、體操、氣功、慢跑等運動項目,但不要進行超負荷的鍛煉。其次,可多食用含鈣豐富的食物,如大豆制品、各種骨頭湯、蛋類及牛奶等,必要時可適當補充鈣片。
