什麼是齲病？

　　

　　什麼是齲病？齲病，俗稱蛀牙，是以細菌為主要致病因素，發生在牙體硬組織上的慢性進行性破壞性的疾病。

它是人類的常見病、多發病之一，一般不危及生命易被忽視，但如不治療，病變發展可引發牙頜系統一系列併發症，最終形成殘冠、殘根或牙喪失，破壞咀嚼器官的完整性，嚴重影響身心健康。
