　　智齒爲什麽會阻生？在人類種系發生和演化過程中，食物種類的日趨精細帶來了 咀嚼器官的退化，造成颌骨長度與牙列所需長度的不協調，結果是 颌骨慢慢退化.逐斷縮小，而牙齒本身的大小並沒有改變.但是， 智齒是牙列中最後萌出的牙齒，當智齒醐出時，往往因爲萌出位置 不足，導致程度不同的阻生.
