　　受傷後牙齒變短是怎麼回事？有時發生牙創傷後，會奇怪地發現牙齒變短了甚至不見了，這是發生了牙齒向牙槽骨深部的嵌入性脫位。對於剛換的門牙發生嵌入的不能強行拉出複位，以免造成更大的創傷，誘發牙根和牙槽骨的吸收。


在作對症處理後，任其重新自然萌出，一般在半年內能萌出到原來的位置。
若牙根已發育完全的恒牙挫入，自行萌出是沒有希望的，應在正畸科將患牙拉出，並在受傷的2~3周內進行根管治療，以防牙根吸收。
