Despite the fact that the new MMORPG's launch weekend saw over 913,000 concurrent players - immediately topping Steam's player charts - the game's popularity caused the game's servers to quickly become overcrowded. As a result, New World players are unable to create new characters on servers that are overloaded.
The game's developers encouraged players to join different servers in less-populated regions as the game's server population grew rapidly. This led to a large number of players reluctantly joining different servers in the hopes of eventually being able to join their friends on a different server. New World developers, on the other hand, have recently come under fire after it was revealed that the information provided was incorrect and that transfers are only available within a player's region. As a result, those who followed Amazon's original advice as a temporary measure were left with two options: either abandon their character entirely and join a different and (likely) overcrowded server, Cheap new world gold or continue their progress in the server they had only intended to use temporarily.

A fix for these issues appears to be on the way, but according to a recent report from the Daily Express, the server transfer feature has been delayed until next week. While some of the game's most serious issues can be traced back to overcrowded servers or the inability to transfer regions, others arise within the game itself, such as NPCs monopolizing the best fishing spots in the open world. An outraged player vowed to kill a New World NPC every day until Amazon Games completely removed all fishing-related annoyances from the game. Other players have also resorted to killing NPCs in order to seize control of their former fishing grounds.
A one-week delay is tolerable, particularly if it results in the successful implementation of a server transfer feature. It is still unclear whether or not a region transfer feature will be implemented in the future. Even though the New World team has a lot on its plate, this upcoming solution appears to be a step in the right direction.
