When watering fences in Animal Crossing: New Horizons a player discovers a strange bug

It's likely that an Animal Crossing: New Horizons fan was enjoying the 2.0 update and going about their business when they accidentally watered too close to one of their newly installed fences. For some reason, the fence's direction shifts abruptly from one side to the other. After double-checking that they understood how they did it and that they would be able to repeat it, they posted their unusual encounter on the Animal Crossing: New Horizon subreddit.

The majority of the time, nothing happens when the fence is watered, not even an animation for the water that drips off of the wall. For some reason, a fan recently discovered that, if a very specific section of fencing is watered, the structure of the wall can be altered. The player is using one of the fences that originally came with the game, butBuy Animal Crossing 2.0 Items appears that the glitch can occur with any fencing, including the fences that were recently introduced in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 Update, according to the developer.

It's an odd bug, butfree ACNH bells appears to be harmless in nature because nothing else in the immediate vicinity appears to have changed. The game does not cause any damage to the surrounding environment or the game itself, nor does it cause anything malicious to occur. The original poster, as well as the commenters below the thread, appear to be taking all very lightly. Some other commenters have stated that they, too, have experienced this bug in their games at some point. Another amusing glitch that can occur in  can be added by the players themselves.

Despite the fact that the Buy ACNH Items 2.0 update appeared to have launched with a slew of bugs, they all appeared to be of the amusing and quirky variety. Following a collision with another sister's Animal Crossing island, a recent bug was discovered, causing the sister to suddenly float into the roof. This can most likely be attributed to something in the game's multiplayer mode, which has been known to cause some interesting interactions.

In yet another glitch, items that were placed on the mythical 4th Level of an island will vanish from the game's world. Players who had items on the 4th Level have reported that they have gone missing since the animal crossing bells 2.0 Update. The items that had been reported missing were later discovered in the Recycle Bin in the Residential Services building by the original poster. Because of the coding in the 2.0 Update, it is presumed that the technique for achieving that level will be more difficult to repeat in the future.
