Body

The bride wore a wedding gown and looked fantastic for this too.

Stuart decided on a luxe suit and bow-tie from.

"Like me, it was a spacesuit. He wasn't thinking about wearing this however when we were buying his suit he loved that one too so kept it anyway and wound up wearing it. It's similar to we knew we needed two wedding outfits. We were ironing Stu's suit the night time before the wedding and that we had a power cut which couldn't be fixed before the next day. So, we'd to drive to my dad's cottage and iron everything there."

The ceremony occurred in the spacious hall at Launcells Barton and was led by a Cornwall County Council registrar. There were several procedures they'd to follow to help keep it Covid-safe.

"We added absolutely nothing to the decor however it was beautiful. It was this type of good venue that you simply don't even have to decorate. Procedures we'd to stick to were social distancing, keeping to only one family per row, and achieving very spaced out chairs."

As the bride's dad walked together with her down the aisle, Mcfly's 'Love Is On The Radio' (the Mr & Mrs. Fletcher acoustic version) played.

"We wrote our very own vows and I think it put into the magic from the day. As much as it can be quite tough to read them because they may be so emotional, it truly is a lovely personal touch. We are extremely glad we did this. My favorite part of the day was hearing our personalized vows because they were both a surprise for every other."

Lauren and Stuart met in 2012 on Plenty of Fish and also got engaged around the sixth anniversary of the first date.

"We were on the cruise towards the Caribbean, around the balcony watching the sunset looking for flying fish. It was incredible! About five-10 mins afterward the Captain announced that I was exactly halfway between Madeira and St Lucia, so we got engaged within the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Pretty epic! We have been engaged almost 2 yrs since we got married."

The couple chose dried flowers and grass arrangements rather than fresh flowers. The bride's bouquet was tied having a vivid crimson ribbon for any splash of color.

"They hand-made my bouquet, Stuart's buttonhole, and my hairpiece, all matching with dried flowers. We've kept all of them. They wound up sending us their sample pieces from the items I ordered, however, they were all lovely so I was really happy."

After the ceremony, the pair escaped towards the wild beach for many newly-wed shots, before hosting a chilled-out garden reception in the bride's dad's bungalow.

The couple planned to possess a second celebration in 2021 and Lauren saved her original selection of short wedding dresses, so she wore a sparkly, rose gold number for their first ceremony. I love how its relaxed feel is perfect for that late summer celebration.

She wore burgundy, strappy shoes and had her hair caught back and fixed in place having a hand-made, dried flower, hairpiece. styled her long hair into this breezy style and applied her fresh, glowing make-up.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Be as present as you possibly can in your day. It goes by so quick, try to soak in every moment and certainly gets at least 20 minutes away with just you and your partner to possess a little time only the two of you – it's really special."
