An English Garden Inspired Wedding

Body

With the purest green leaves and white flowers, this very day brought a breath of English countryside into the heart of historic London, having a wild forest dinner inspired by the couple's lives in Namibia.

Liv and John wed on 31 May 2019 in the opulent in London. The couple traveled from Namibia where English-born Liv may be the general manager of Namibian restaurant Olivia’s Kitchen and Namibian-born John is the general manager of boutique hotel Am Weinberg Hotel.

Liv and her bridesmaids got ready within an Airbnb near the venue, and her delicate, flowing, silk gown was by Valentini, from London. I just love the sexy deep-V from the lacy bodice and figure-hugging silk band around the waist.

"I wanted something sexy and stylish and importantly, something I didn't need to wear a bra with and may dance in. I wanted just a little sparkle although not a tacky amount, then one with silk, which dresses just answered my dreams. I didn't realize until it had been on."

The bridesmaids were in sage bridesmaid dresses, plus they wore wedges. The girls and also the bride was styled to perfection through the incomparable, who we're so proud to feature on ours. As you can observe from Liv's words below, they are available very recommended.

Meanwhile, John was preparing in a traditional three-piece suit that the couple chose together on a holiday to Savile Row.

"We decided on a very natural feel, having lived our way of life together so far within the most beautiful scenery immersed anyway in Tanzania and Namibia."

The couple met when Liv traveled towards the Serengeti in Tanzania for work.

"We met in November 2015. John was the meals and beverage manager for that group of lodges that I worked for. In a matter of a couple of months, working within the most beautiful environment together, we fell deeply in love, sneaking around in the middle of the night with wild elephants to get at each other's tent."

"The secret eventually arrived on the scene and we lived and worked together in Tanzania for 2 years. We then went to live in Namibia to reside where we now have been for 2 along with a half years. John proposed in July 2018 around the beach in Swakopmund, Namibia."

The bride chose Honne's 'Someone That Loves You' to experience as she entered the venue, walked through the splendid staircase, and entered the ceremony room. I just adore the elegant arches of foliage that frame Liv and John because they marry.

The couple also decided to have a wedding film, developed.

"Danny produced an attractive film from the day, capturing all of the emotion and fun. He is subtle I didn’t notice him there, but he was able to capture all of the best bits and great dancing shots!"

"I love watching the recording and reliving the entire day. It also captures parts you may have missed and also you see from a different angle. It is so worth using a video to create it all back again again again."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Before I would not value being married, but there's something about being married that changes everything. I feel like we're unbreakable, we now have infinite trust in one another, we're joined together forever and can love one another forever."
