They celebrated their marriage on the 28 July around the outskirts of Lincoln, holding their ceremony within the hall's beautiful Long Gallery, as well as their reception within the converted Coach House.

"We didn't possess a particular theme to the day, but simply picked things that people loved after working hours on Pinterest and wedding blogs! I like to think it became romantic, with a lot of greenery and roses, and fairy lights, and everyone looking gorgeous within their tuxedos and delightful dresses."

After the ceremony, Katie and Simon spent some reflective and romantic time together, savoring their newly married status. These and a lot more from the day's beautiful moments were captured elegantly by the photographer.

From the boutique, Katie decided on a showstopper of the dress by, having a glittering, intricately embellished tulle illusion bodice with sparkly edging, a subtle mermaid silhouette along with a dramatic, lace-trimmed train.

Simon looked smart inside a timeless, stylish tuxedo, using the groomsmen in matching attire, and also the sweet pageboys wearing a black tie.

In keeping using the soft and romantic color palette from the day, Katie's two bridesmaids wore lilac grey and pale pink maxi dresses, with shoes after that also, and jewelry pieces.

The flower girls looked lovely within an assortment of dresses from High Street favorites, sparkly dresses with spangled tulle skirts, along with white lace and tulle flower girl dresses having a pink sash, applique roses, as well as an embellished cardigan.

Katie and her bridesmaids and flower girls carried ethereally beautiful bouquets of pink and cafe au lait garden roses, accented with white berries, feathery asparagus fern, and a lot of other lovely, seasonal foliage.

"Simon and I were created by mutual friends in 2014. We continued a blind date and immediately knew it was going to become something. I already had my daughter Alice, so after a couple of months of dating, Simon and Alice were introduced, and skip to a few more months later, and we moved into Simon's bachelor pad, and never long after I was pregnant with this son, Sam."

"We moved into a brand new home together just in time for Sam to reach in November 2015. Simon proposed in May 2016 following a movie night and pizza."

"As I was putting the dogs to bed, he popped open a bottle of champagne (a little extravagant with this late at night, I thought but let's opt for it!) after which he proceeded to obtain down on one knee. He still laughs concerning the shock on my small face."

“After the thrill had died down, we chose to squeeze yet another baby in before the wedding, so our lovely Ella found its way to March 2017, and we booked our venue soon after. Then we might get planning for the marriage in July the year after.”

The ceremony also included an attractive, heartfelt reading of the extract from Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, by Louis de Bernieres,

Everyone enjoyed drinks outside within the gardens whilst the small ones had great fun using their games and dressing.

"We chose our location since the Doddington Estate is really beautiful, with an excellent farm shop, restaurant, cafe, bike shop, and also the hall and gardens."

Katie swapped her veil for any lovely, wild floral crown of roses and multi-textured greenery, and she or he and Simon headed towards the dancefloor for live music from Mumford & Sons style band, who they discovered through Hire a Band.

"We didn't possess the first dance. I think both Simon and myself might have felt uncomfortable available online, therefore we broke that tradition but we did still cut the wedding cake."

"I loved the ceremony, but we'd so much fun afterward too, and I loved every minute. It went so quick, so just be sure you relax and take it all in whenever you can."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Give yourself plenty of time to obtain into your dress, but for the finishing touches. I ran from the time at the finish, coupled with hoped to possess a glass of champagne with my entourage before walking towards the ceremony, but rather we wound up rushing out."
