In order to apply for a study visa to Canada, students must first undergo a medical check. Canada offers four types of visas based on the needs of the applicant.

CAD $100.00 for a Temporary Resident Visa and $150.00 for a Study Permit. CAD $150.00 for a Work Permit. $50.00 CAD for Permanent Resident Travel Document Following the submission of your visa application, students must pay a biometric cost of CAD 85. Candidates must pay this charge in addition to the usual visa fee. Following that, your biometrics will be taken at a Visa Application Centre.

Canada Student Visa Rules

As the holder of a study permit, you are subject to a number of restrictions. You risk having your student status and study permission withdrawn if you don't follow these rules. You could even need to leave Canada.

Candidates with valid study visas must:

• be registered at a DLI, unless you are exempt, and, unless you are exempt, show your dedication to your studies by enrolling full- or part-time throughout each academic semester (excluding regularly scheduled breaks)
• making progress in your program and avoiding absences from your study program longer than 150 days that have been allowed
• Inform if you change post-secondary schools.
• Stop your studies and leave if you are no longer eligible to be a student.
