Paris is one of the most popular destinations in Europe; its cultural heritage and iconic monuments are a must-see on everyone's bucket list.

There are so many things to do in this city; I will talk about four: what to eat, what to wear for your trip and how you can have a great time at night.

Paris is a city with a lot of history, and you will see amazing sites everywhere. You can discover more about this city by reading my article about what to see inside.

When visiting Paris, I suggest arriving as early as possible, the best time is around late morning, right after the sun rises. It's better not to go at night because there're many tourists who leave a little bit after midnight.

There are two prime times:

Early morning and late afternoon. During the day, there're a lot of tourists, and it will be a bit expensive to eat or drink. In that case, I suggest going to a café, an espaço de chá (Porco à la carbonara) and that costs around €15 per person, located in all parts of Paris.

I had made many trips to Paris, but Versailles place Tour was one of my memorable trips; the Versailles Palace and its Gardens are one of the most famous tourist attractions in Paris and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This place is more than just a sight; it has more than one appeal. There are many things to see, such as the ornate furniture, royal apartments, staterooms, and gardens, but there is also something to enjoy.

My favourite café is in our neighbourhood close to Place de la Bastille, Poscol e Least Café. The typical Parisian experience is a croissant (like in New York), hot chocolate and chickpea soup.

For your day trips, I recommend to go tourist places and spending around six hours in the city. If you only have one day or two, I recommend to add in your agenda what I'll talk about next:

Where to eat

Paris has a lot of good restaurants that offer different kinds of cuisine. It's not necessary to go all over the city looking for good food; there are trendy places.

In Paris at the moment, there are many new places to eat. The most well known ones are TukTuk, Garde-Manger and La Closerie des Lilas (on Rue de Béthune).

I like to go to TukTuK every time I go to Paris. The restaurant is not far from my home and is very good for lunch or dinner with friends.

What to see

The most important buildings in Paris are the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame. I recommend going during the daytime because all of them have a great view, of course. The night is different because they're lit up with colours and lights, and it's a spectacular view, but it will be very crowded since there are many tourists.

They are free attractions in Paris, and you can go through them quickly too.

At night you can go to a bar or a club. There are some in all areas of Paris, and they're not far from each other, so I recommend going to Chatelet and visiting Latin Quarter, Saint-Germain, Bastille and Canal Saint-Martin.

Seine River Tour

The Seine river is the main artery in Paris, and it's very famous because it divides Paris into two: Left Bank and Right Bank. The tour includes a boat; you can see Paris from top to bottom.

There are many boats, but I prefer to go on the Conciergerie boat, it's very fast (they said that it only takes 15 minutes to go all the way but I also heard that sometimes they do a little bit more time). The boat company is Compagnie des Bateaux Verts, and its office is in the 4th arrondissement.

In this Seine River Tour, you can see the Louvre, Notre-Dame, Châtelet Les Halles and on the other side you go under Pont Neuf and go to famous buildings: Institut de France, Beaubourg, Hôtel de Ville and Châtelet.

You can make this trip alone, or you can take a group.

You can also take Louvre Museum Tour to experience beautiful history.

Paris is fascinating to visit, and I like it because of its history, monuments and locals. You must visit this city and don't forget to visit me :)

Tell me in the comment section below if you have any questions or suggestions on what to do in Paris. I'll be happy to answer.
