What was your reaction to this?
Like many boxing fans, I was really excited to watch Manny Pacquiao take on his competitor Saturday night. I tuned into Showtime pay-per-view live, and couldn't have been more disappointed by the fight.
What could have been a record-breaking bout for not only the number of rounds but also for the number of brutal blows landed throughout the entire fight instead turned out to be just a glorified sparring match.
By round one, when it became apparent that we were merely witnessing two skillful boxers rather than two ferocious competitors attempting to hurt each other, I had lost interest completely. But what made me even more infuriated is when my fiancé asked if he could please rewind the DVR so he could see the punch replay!
Why do you think Pacquiao's performance was so good?
Manny is truly a boxing phenom and his performance against Williams was better than expected. Williams has been fighting professionally for 11 years with 55 fights. He had never been knocked out before tonight. It was clear that he had some more fight left when he got back up after being knocked down the first time, but Manny didn't give him any chance to get back into the match and beat him for a second time. Many predicted that Williams might have an easier time against an aging Pacquiao, but those assumptions were wrong from the first punch. In fact, many consider this win by knockout to be one of the most brutal in boxing history.

First of all, this fight was on April 14th, 2016 and it's a very recent event. Pacquiao dominated from the first round. What do you expect from future boxing matches involving Manny Pacquiao?
We can only expect the man known as Pac-Man to continue his string of dominance. Boxing has a new king and he is being seen for what he is: the world's best boxer pound-for-pound. Anything else you would like to add to this match?
Manny Pacman Pacquiao absolutely destroyed his opponent and put him out of his misery for the first round. The fight lasted only 119 seconds and was very one-sided. What was your favorite part?
