The condenser draws hot air out of the house and puts it outdoors, which is why it is placed outdoors. If the condenser is dirty, it cannot work effectively. Which steps are necessary to clean the condenser of the air conditioner?

One thing you should do is take a look at the area of ​​the condenser with a radius of 3 feet. If there are plants or debris on either side of the air conditioning unit, relocate or discard them. Unplug the air conditioner or turn off the power of the air conditioner.

Use your hand to pull out any large debris from the condenser coil, such as leaves or branches.

If necessary, unscrew the grille covering the condenser and set it aside.

Use a coarse brush, like a spiral brush, natural brush or old toothbrush, to remove dust, lint and pollen from the fins.

Hold the brush from the side and brush gently along the angled fins. This will loosen the accumulation.

Let the device air dry.

Spray the condenser with a coil cleaner, which you can buy at your home store.

Wait 5 minutes for the coil cleaner to evaporate.

Replace the grille (if applicable) and restore power to the unit.

When you brush off the fins, wear long sleeves, protective gloves and dust masks. Because you don’t know what is trapped in the coil, don’t touch it or inhale it as well.
