Lessons from my review of treatment approached in Addiction Rehabs

• HIV/Aids, hepatitis B and C, TB, and other infectious disorders should all be tested for during treatment.

Drug addiction treatment approaches that have been proven successful

Based on the aforementioned principles, I assessed the treatment approaches employed by the addiction treatment rehabs in South Carolina and determined the following to have a track record of success:

• The provision of suitable medication.
• Behavioral counseling
• Medical tools and software for teaching new skills or alleviating withdrawal symptoms.
• Long-term follow-ups are required for co-occurring mental health conditions like depression and anxiety.
• Continuousmonitoring and treatment of patients in order to prevent relapse.
