Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

The Union Government has, in order to provide a monthly pension of Rs. 3,000/- per month for small and marginal farmers, effected the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, with an allocation of Rs. 12,000 crores under Budget 2018-19.
This scheme will cover all small and marginal farmers having land up to 2 hectares with individual annual income of less than Rs. 5 lakhs (other than those who are already covered under Para 6 of Part A(2) of Schedule I to the National Social Assistance Programme Act).
