I agree on the point, where you're coming from, but the one I can't see. No big upgrades? Can you play back in 2013 or in 2007 when RuneScape gold was launched? RuneScape is just nothing like the original edition. We have a completely new continent for fucks sake. Weapons/gear? Let me just name a couple items: twisted bow, blowpipe, scythe of vitur, rapier/saeldor/inq mace, justiciar set, kodai wand, harmonised staff... These things are up to like 20-30% greater than their original predecessors. Most of them ought to be grade 90. Just how much more do you want, really? For training procedures, pretty much all abilities have experienced some upgrades that have changed their coaching procedures. So again, I agree with your first point, but you need to reconsider the other one IMO.

One that is in my mind from earlier is the Menu Entry Swapper attribute on third party clients should not be allowed. It's certainly nice to have at time, but it is defiantly questionable and pushes the line around as much as prohibited plugins if you think about how players may customize their own stuff and exactly what it does. Anything that is currently coming to mind at the moment probably wouldn't be unpopular. Like I really don't think saying that 2020 was lackluster for content and the remainder of the year looks somewhat dry for updates is that out there using a statement.

Places id say MES is questionable is bury option on bones. They banned MES. Its one choice and one option. And shift can be changed. Personally I need them to bring this customisation into RuneScape itself, but its a little"janky" to set up and would feel weird officially. They added which was a thing from plugins and MES. Shift dropping, alter components that are empty, bank X / All options. All to mitigate how the UI was designed and was worked around with AHK and Mousekeys. Because it removes the need to do things 16, I like MES that are static. Which should not have been how RuneScape was, but its what it got to. MES, bank choices, shift falling and several other items have completely removed the need to utilize Mousekeys to perform with RuneScape at the maximum degree.

Agree, I can't believe MES passed the"approved plug test" considering just how much of an edge it is. It is basically a requirement for chaos altar prayer. I abused the shit out of itself since it is allowed surprised it made the cut of all things. I throw one out that related: that the Jad plugin was overrated. It didn't provide you some advice that Jad's animation/sound does let you know. Since it makes them far more easy to see hell, NPC emphasize on the healers is a larger advantage over vanilla client. With no the method only moves back to utilizing Mousekeys to do exactly the identical thing with fixed movement on a right click menu. MES is a much better option for everybody (no external mouse movement program required, no surplus wrist movement out of poor UI design etc..)For Old School players the transition is simpler, believe it or not. Those people just get bemused. Had my buddy spend 15 minutes dragging and clicking lobsters to bank them, getting confused when it was click/drag to fall rather than use an item, not knowing the complexities of the combat system then calling it boring after I let him leech entirely because of how clueless he is. It makes you step back for a moment and realize how much of RuneScape that is second nature to a veteran participant is just hard for most people to wrap their heads around.

Since most people grew up on RuneScape, we are self-learned and never needed a tutorial. Tutorial Island, which I will defend to my death and love, which makes you kill a rat at revo manner but does not even mention the activity bar or to rotate abilities. It is no wonder some people simply assume clicking and waiting for the enemy to die and sipping on a prayer potion is the combat system's complexity. Yeah, Jagex's tutorials are somewhat cluttered. The HUD is a clusterfuck that's impossible to Cheap RS gold navigate, made worse by icons on mobile vs desktop anyone who learned RuneScape through mobile will probably be confused af.
