Did you even play back then?

Secondly, and above all, as we warned last week we are now banning people that are BUYING RuneScape gold for real-world money - those men and women who are financing the entire problem in the first place. In the past week we've banned 2300 accounts for RS gold breaking Rule 12 by buying RuneScape gold. As we said we would, we've been working hard to prohibit players who play unfairly. Since we last posted about this we have banned another 4738 players for purchasing RuneScape items/gold for real money, which will be in breach of rule 12. The bankers also have entered into this arrangement as they believe it'll stop the Party Room used as a way of transferring wealth covertly.

Quite a few updates are published in 2007 -- Assist System, LootShare, Duel Arena changes; read the'Trade and Drop Changes' news article on front page to see them all -- specifically targeted at end real-world trading in RuneScape. Obviously, gold-sellers need to earn this RuneScape gold. They overcrowd in-game tools using their bots, exploit bugs and scam legitimate players out of items and their accounts. They are the origin of the majority of rule-breaking in RuneScape, and they need to be stopped. RuneScape's creator, Andrew Gower, sums it up perfectly:"There has been a significant increase in the amount of real-world trading this season. If we don't find a solution to RWT today, it is going to destroy RuneScape."'

Did you even play back then? Skillcapes were outside for a few months before we experienced a huge surge in robots. I have given you lots of connections, even a direct quotation from Andrew that cites macroing burst in 2007. Anyhow, glad my reply can make you'lmfao' if you've given me such responses. I was 15 in 2007 and I had 99s. As a 15 year old, I could say I wasn't keeping track of all of the robots and figures of Runescape. Like, what do you have a spreadsheet you're compiling over the previous 15 years? Lmao.

Literally whatever you mentioned skillcapes that was connects to robots and real world trading. None of those links addressing actual world trading cites skillcapes. Hilarious how horribly your logic fails and yet you still think you are right. They cite many thousand folks got for buying gold within a year of the launch of Skillcapes banned. When botting's explosion was obvious for everyone to see throughout 2007 would I keep a spreadsheet?

I don't have Jagex directly saying skillcapes caused botting, just that RS2 was out for over 2 years before Skillcapes came out and we did not have rampant botting. However in 6 months of Skillcapes being out F2P worlds were swamped with them and tens of thousands were banned every week for purchasing gold. Your passive aggressive tone with every reply whilst offering nothing is shit btw.

Different poster. Correlation doesn't equal causation. Bots increase based on ease of access to computing, understanding that Runescape is quantity of buy RuneScape gold players in general, and one which may be botted for profit. Botting will constantly increase as the playerbase or celebrity of Runescape increases, since there's more money. This rise was not alone caused by skillcapes.
