Researchers point out that green tea has been known for its anti radiation and cholesterol lowering effects. This new study specifically investigates the cognitive status of people over 70 years old. The results showed that 70% of people said they drank at least two to three cups of green tea a day, of which the prevalence of Alzheimer's was the lowest. On the contrary, those who drank one cup a day or none at all had Alzheimer's disease, about half as much as the former.
