WOTLK Gold Legendary's video game film World of Warcraft comes to theaters, the film's company has announced a pair of new videos for it. One of them is a 30-second television spot that contains footage from past episodes. The other is an behind-the-scenes film that focuses on the actress Paula Patton and the work she did in executing the character's stunts, as well as fight scenes.
Patton says that she completed 2.5 minutes of exercise fitness, six days a week in preparation for her part in the film. In addition, there was an additional two hours of stunt training where she learned how to utilize knives and swords."I believe it's crucial to be able to physically feel like you're able do whatever your character can accomplish. The physical preparation, it was very intimidating," Patton said.
Director Duncan Jones went on to acknowledge Patton's talent and determination.
"We have an amazing stunt team, but Paula has taken the time to give herself into their care," he said. "So we've been able to do some things on camera with Paula that you normally would be using stunt people to accomplish."World of Warcraft opens on June 10. World of Warcraft isn't just the one video game film coming out this year, as Fox's Assassin's Conqueror will hit theaters in December.
In addition to Patton, World of Warcraft has Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Toby Kebbell (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), and Robert Kazinsky (Pacific Rim). In the case of Jones who directed previously, he was the director of Moon in addition to Source Code.A few months ago, Fimmel talked about how he'd never heard of World of Warcraft before signing for the role of one of the main characters, Lothar. "I wanted to get a job," he said about taking the role. At the opposite end that spectrum Ogrim actor Kazinsky is a diehard World of Warcraft player who believes that the game saved his life.
Legendary has released videos that highlight the characters from the film. You can watch them through the hyperlinks below. The movie's title track here; it was composed by Game of Thrones and Iron Man music producer Ramin Djawadi.Four new clips from the upcoming World of Warcraft movie have made their way online. Two of the trailers were already removed and it's possible that the video embedded below will follow suit.
The first clip shows Khadgar being taken away by Medivh and the second clip shows Lothar and his army being attacked by Blackhand and his band of orcs, the third is a hostile dialogue that takes place between Lothar and Garona and the fourth is the moment when Durotan and Orgrim before they discuss a revolt against Gul'Dan. World of Warcraft opens in theaters on the 10th of June. The film stars Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Paula Patton (Mission: Impossible The Ghost Protocol), Paula Payton (Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol), Toby Kebbell (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) and Robert Kazinsky (Pacific Rim). The film is being directed by Duncan Jones, who previously directed Moon as well as Source Code.
