I see the reason although after playing one the other night
Dark And Darker Gold, I am 100 100% sure the class (and casters in general) do not suit me.
I mostly played Ranger last night, thoroughly enjoyed the game for the most part , but I'll probably keep playing Fighter and especially since the Weapon Master change is now just a 10% reduction in power, instead of 20 percent.
But my complaints overall are pretty limited...aside from my speculation that there were hackers or simply individuals sporting high-powered weapons or purple ones, they were able to knock me from near maximum health by one knife strike to the chest...one of which was someone who was a Wizard in some way.
I'm trying to push my wizard today. It's just to see how serious modifications are. I'm thinking that the splash damage could be a little over-tuned. However, the wizard does not feel like it's a problem. I believe that the changes are reasonable. Not class breaking. Make sure to use your abilities to the fullest extent. Light nerfs are big time LuL however. 8>6 yaokdude.
I applaud you for staying on top of this and the other thread and for posting continuously in reply to others. however there are valid criticisms that should be made and addressed. You are distracting attention from.
Like, for example how elementary the combat can be. Combat consists of two skills including moving (usually slowly) and aiming at slow moving targets. In the case of NPC combat, we can add an additional component of dodging very slow telegraphed attacks. None of these are demanding and the third is merely tedious. The game could be improved by using elements.
Like blocks that do not require the most precise understanding of where your third person model (that you can't see) is positioned
cheap Dark And Darker Gold. And instead, your character appears as if they are self preservation and positions their shield or weapon appropriately.
