Not all of them are flawless, but they are softer and more blendable than the brushes I previously used. These brushes have become an important part of my regular makeup routine. I regularly use them for applying foundation, blusher, eyeshadows, lipstick, highlighter, etc.
I used the Face Flat Brush to apply my foundation. My usual tools are a beauty blender or an Urban Decay Optical Blurring Brush. My first impression of the Flat Facial Brush was that it was softer and thinner than my ordinary brush.
Instead of stippling, I prefer to apply color with this brush in a circular buffing motion. Coverage could have been better with the UD brush, and the finish wasn't quite as opaque or synthetic-looking, but it looked nice and didn't need any more effort.
I tested all of the brushes, and these are my final thoughts. Overall, the BS-Mall cosmetic brushes were excellent. Unlike with cheap brushes, I saw zero color transfer while applying eye makeup, and none of the hairs clumped together or stuck to my skin.
The one major disadvantage, and the reason I did not give these five stars altogether, is that they have a very strong chemical odor upon opening that takes some time to fade. I'd buy these again and want to see what more the brand has to offer.
