But police brutality and NFL are two topics that have been fairly

Body

But police brutality and NFL are two topics that have been fairly well intertwined with each other last couple of years because of all of the protests. If not, perhaps it'll piss off them, I'm fine with that too, because fuck em. And they also might have done nothing. They could have waited a couple weeks for it to Mut 21 coins blow over and released it then. This way receives the message out there, even when they've silly business motives, it is better than nothing. There's many companies and lots of celebrities saying and doing nothing. I respect anybody who is speaking up.

They might have just quietly made no statement and sent countless mails out to the press saying they were delaying the afternoon that they were formally releasing the trailer. That tweet probably also had to get approval from some people quite high up. Sure they can do more, but they definitely could do . Perhaps this paves the way for more large gaming firms making pseudo political announcements? Majority of bigger announcements planned for this week when this doesn't get a peaceful resolution within the next few days. Bringing any attention to the protests assists the protests. Doesn't matter if they're profiting from it. I could not have stated it better. Who cares if they stand to gain off it... Which I really don't think that they will profit more than they simply didn't say anything. It is quite literally the absence of advertisements. They're specifically not carrying their event/reveal.

It is advertising. Anything posted to some new social media is advertising. To be honest, this is actually the first I have heard about the reveal. It is now on my radar because of this tweet, therefore it's still advertising. This isn't doing something though and quite frankly some people have experienced our intelligence insulted way too much with the slew of idiotic fucking"we stand with you through covid" ads by firms in recent months. These same companies that are actively fucking over their workers in this outbreak. Like seriously, Amazon of all fucking companies has a God damn covid ad with some asshole preaching about just how much the business is doing to safeguard it's employees which people who have followed recent events will understand is complete fucking bullshit. It's a damn joke frankly.

Didn't they censor Colin Kaepernick's name from songs in Madden'18 and Madden'19? EA is the big corp in the gambling world. They do and say whatever will deliver them maximum gain. Kaepernick refused to stand up during the national anthem which created a chain reaction in the league. Not like anyone's losing sleep within a (likely ) cinematic trailer promoting a game that will just be buy Madden nfl 21 coins exactly the same as last season's. Comes off as EA hoping to get people to forget they recently renewed basically an entire monopoly on NFL games that majorly pissed off sports sport lovers.
