Unlock Your Creativity with a Short guide to craft attractive T-Shirt Mockups

Crafting a top-notch T-shirt mockup holds great significance for screen printing businesses. These mockups serve as a valuable tool to refine design concepts and present professional visuals to clients before proceeding with actual printing. The quality of your mockup plays a crucial role in determining its versatility. It can be utilized not only as product photos but also as compelling social media posts and more.

This short guide will let you know how you can make use of clothing mockup templates to create an attractive T-shirt mockup with a left-chest print & a back print, here you can make use of an editing tool like Photoshop to achieve the same:

The Template

To begin, it's essential to have a template on hand. Creating your own mockups can be a time-consuming task that requires significant effort and editing skills. However, mockup templates come to the rescue, as they are designed using the actual garment you would use for a printing job. With these templates, you gain a clear understanding of how the shirt will appear once it's printed, ensuring accurate visualization of the final product.

Beginning the Design

Utilize the various layers within the template, such as design, tag, and custom tag. Additionally, you may find folders containing shadows, additional artwork layers, highlights, fabrics, and colors. To enhance the template, consider incorporating a drop shadow and background layers. Now, let's move on to the left chest print in the next section.

The Left Chase Print

To create a left-chest print, use the placement guide to scale and position your design accurately. Save the smart object design and close the window to see it seamlessly integrated into your original mockup. Utilize an online editing tool to adjust the opacity of highlights, revitalizing the black shirt and infusing it with a fresh and vibrant look.

The Tag

To add custom tags to your mockup, remove the "stock tag" layer and activate the "custom tag" layer. This will open a new smart object window. Follow the same steps as you did for the left-chest print by deleting the stock design and replacing it with your custom tag.

If your custom tag appears too large in your t shirt mockup bundle, simply resize it to fit comfortably beneath the collar of the shirt. Use the "Command/Control T" shortcut to initiate the resizing process. Hold down the "option" key to scale the design proportionally from the center of the window. Drag the tag design towards the bottom to ensure it remains visible below the shirt collar. Don't forget to save your design before closing the smart window to preserve your changes.

Giving a Finishing Touch

Congratulations on completing your professional-looking T-shirt mockup! Now, you have two exciting choices ahead. Option one: export the mockup as a jpeg and swiftly send it to your client for review. Option two: take it up a notch by creating a custom backdrop to enhance the presentation of your amazing mockups.
