KSA Personal Data Protection Managementrefers to the system, policies, and procedures implemented by organizations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to protect the privacy and confidentiality of personal data in accordance with the Saudi Arabian Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) regulations.
The National Digital Transformation Unit (NDMO) in KSA is responsible for overseeing and enforcing data protection laws and regulations, including the Saudi Data Protection Law (SDPL) that came into effect on July 28, 2020.
The KSA Personal Data Protection Management framework includes the following components:
