The Linksys mx4200 velop can be factory reset in two distinct ways: using the web interface via the reset button. For the first process, you must access the Linksys web interface and select Factory Reset to discard the settings. So, access the web interface and move to the Linksys Velop MX4200 setup portal. From there, select the advanced settings and click on the Factory Reset option. On the contrary, you only need to press the reset button on the Velop's bottom panel for the second technique. But, bear in mind that after resetting its installed settings, the Linksys Velop mx4200 configuration will need to be done again. The outdated settings will be removed eventually whether you use the first or second way. As you go through this process, keep an eye on the LED indicators since the panel will begin to blink. This will inform you about the process progress and ask you to do the setup again. Now, do the setup using any method from two different approaches: web-based and WiFi app ways. But, make sure you use the default and accurate credentials of the Velop and follow the directions carefully to have a successful setup.
