Mmoexp CFB 25 Coins: Executing RPO Plays

Body

Executing RPO Plays
1. Pre-Snap Decisions

Before the ball is snapped, pay attention to the defensive alignment and the icons above the defenders’ heads. These icons will help you identify the key defenders to read:

R Defender: The read defender, whose actions will help you decide whether to hand off the ball or keep it.

P Defender: The pass defender, whose positioning will affect your decision to pass the ball.

2. Making the Choice

During the play, you have a limited time window to decide whether to pass or hand off the ball. Here’s a step-by-step approach:

Read the Defense: Observe the R defender’s movements. If the R defender commits to the running back, it’s often better to keep the ball and either run or pass.

Check the Pass Option: For RPO Read and Glance plays, assess the P defender’s position. If the pass option is viable and the defender is not covering the receiver effectively, you can choose to pass.

Execute the Play: Depending on your choice, either hand off the ball by not pressing the X/A button (for RPO Read) or hold the button to keep the ball and decide to pass or run.
