How Sealed AGM Battery works
The Sealed AGM Battery contains a special glass gasket separator that can absorb the electrolyte solution between the battery plates. The design of this material allows the glass fiber to be saturated with the electrolyte-and the electrolyte is stored in a "dry" or suspended state, rather than as a free liquid.
When the battery is working, the electrolyte will be transferred from the glass pad to the battery plate as needed. The mat contains enough electrolyte to allow the battery to reach its full capacity, and—if the battery case is damaged or the battery tilts—its electrolyte will not overflow.
