As a first and foremost point of clarification, we would like to state:Your Animal Crossing: New Leaf:The island of New Horizons is absolutely perfect in its current condition.  Being able to observe the incredible progress made by others while not passing judgment on the progress made by your own island can be extremely discouraging.  Keep in mind, however, that Animal Crossing is a marathon, not a sprint, so be patient.  However, several members of the buy ACNH styles have posted pictures of heart crystals, and if you're anything like us, you're probably thinking about purchasing one for your own collection.  It's not easy to get your hands on an ACNH heart crystal right now, unfortunately. . . unless you're comfortable with hacking or you're extraordinarily, extraordinarily (in-game) wealthy.

You're interested in purchasing some 'free ACNH NMT' heart crystals for yourself, right?

We have some bad news as well as some good news to share with you today.  But there is some bad news in that the highly sought-after heart crystals that you have been seeing in pictures of Animal Crossing: New Horizons are not currently available due to technical limitations in the game's development.  To anyone and everyone.  This is something that even time travelers are susceptible to.  In the same way that star fragment trees have been making the rounds, heart crystals, like star fragment trees, are currently only available to those who have hacked the game, much like the star fragment trees.

Those in desperate need of heart crystals can try their luck on the Nookazon website (which was created by fans for the purpose of trading).  Just keep in mind that it will come at a significant financial cost to you, so plan accordingly.  An estimated average price for each crystal is approximately 780,000 bells, which is equivalent to between 10 and 50 Nook Miles Tickets.  The price is extremely expensive! Unfortunatelly, if you are uncomfortable with the idea of hacking your game or rewarding hackers with your hard-earned currency, there is an alternative solution available: simply be persistent.

The 'ACNH' heart crystals are given out as prizes to those who take part in the Wedding Event.

Precautionary note: This article contains information about the upcoming Animal Crossing Wedding Event! The heart crystals are rewards for participating in the Wedding Event, which will take place in the game between June 1, 2020 and June 31, 2020, and will be available for purchase after the event concludes.  The Wedding Event will take place between June 1, 2020 and June 31, 2020.  It will be necessary to travel to Harvey's island and photograph weddings based on specific themes (for example, the first theme will be a chapel ceremony) in order to qualify for participation in the event.  You will receive anywhere from 5 to 11 heart crystals each day, depending on how well you perform on the challenge of that particular day.

Currently, we do not know what the heart crystals are used for, but it appears that they are a type of crafting material, which is consistent with their appearance.  As part of the Wedding Event, you'll be able to unlock specific items such as the wedding bench, wedding table, and wedding flower stand, in addition to specific furniture.  While it is possible that you will be able to unlock the furniture itself, there is a chance that you will instead unlock recipes, which will require you to obtain heart crystals in order to be able to build the furniture.

Regardless of what function heart crystals serve in the game, there's no denying that they're breathtakingly beautiful.  We completely understand why people would want them right now — and we completely understand why they would want them in the future, as well.  Unfortunately, it appears that the most prudent course of action is to simply wait until the Wedding Event begins, presuming that you intend to adhere to all applicable laws and regulations during the entire process.  In the meantime, if your moral compass permits hacking, now is an excellent time to stock up on heart crystals — and perhaps even make some money by taking advantage of other people's impatience!
