PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING THE ENERGY METER

Posted By zjsd121 zjsd121     July 7, 2022

Body

Energy Meter Test Bench is one of our products. Let us share the precautions when using the energy meter.

  When installing, the terminals should be tightened, and the meter should be hung on a vertical fire-resistant screen that is not easy to vibrate.

  When the external load exceeds the output capability of the auxiliary terminal. An intermediate relay should be connected to prevent damage to the meter.

  For the installation and removal of the instrument connected through the junction box, it should be carried out under the condition of grid isolation through the junction box, and it should be operated by personnel who have obtained relevant safety qualifications; Qualified personnel to operate while preventing electric shock and phase-to-phase short circuits.

  After removing the end cover or the upper cover of the instrument in the laboratory, if it is powered on, its terminals or conductors have dangerous voltage. Therefore, the user is not allowed to carry out live operation of removing the upper cover; Protective barriers and measures must be provided and operated by skilled and safety-qualified personnel.

  Use the cable type, cross-sectional area, size, and connector requirements that meet the relevant electrical specifications during instrument installation, and tighten the screws with the same torque.

  When replacing the battery of the instrument, it is necessary to use the battery of the same specification as the original battery of the instrument, and the polarity of the battery should be installed correctly.

  The following circuits of the instrument are circuits with dangerous voltages, and must be protected according to relevant safety regulations during field operation: ① Voltage circuit directly connected to the instrument; ② Neutral circuit; ③ Current circuit directly connected to the instrument; ④ Relay/control switch and alarm output voltage loop;

  ⑤ Connect to the auxiliary power circuit of the power circuit.

  After wiring, the end cover should be sealed with lead, and it is recommended to seal the face cover with lead.

  When RS485 is connected, it is recommended to use a shielded cable with three cores. The three cores connect the terminal to the communication grounds of meters A and B, and the single-ended shielding layer is connected to the protection ground reliably.
