You'll need 30 Strength as well as
OSRS gold before you can begin this portion of your training. You'll then be able to take a short mini-quest in Otto's Grotto, which is slightly to the south of Barbarian Outpost. Barbarian Outpost (accessed via Games Necklace). Once completed, you'll be awarded a Barbarian Rod, which will permit you to practice Barbarian Fishing. Like Fly Fishing, Barbarian Fishing requires one Feather for each fish taken, so be sure to replenish your supplies before you head out. At levels below 70 you will receive around 35.000 to 40.000 experience per hour when you reach levels 70 and over you'll get around 50.000 - 60.000 hours of experience. In level 99. you'll achieve around 60k xp/hour. You can also get more xp rates for fishing through three-tick Barbarian Fishing (up to 110kx/hr at levels 99). This is thought to be the fastest and most efficient method of fishing training, but some may be irritated by the fact that there isn't any profit with this method plus, you're expected to drop each fish as there is no bank within the vicinity. If you're comfortable with the monotony, it's recommend to stick with this method until Level 99. The methods that involve bank accounts and profit are inefficient and the profits are not that great in the grand scale of the game. If, however, you're the type of player who prefers to have OSRS open while chilling, perhaps while watching a movie these other methods might be for you.
One of the slow ways of banking and earning some small amounts of money is to catch Monkfish. You'll have to complete your Swan Song quest before you can begin to catch Monkfish which you'll be playing in Piscatoris. The XP per hour of this method varies from about 30K when you reach Level 70. and closer to 40K at higher levels. This method is recommended If you do not intend to pursue Barbarian Fishing, as Monkfish provide higher XP per hour than Sharks even after level 99. Fishing for Sharks via the traditional method is not advised to players of any kind. Achieving Monkfish to level 99 requires 105.839 Fish to be caught, which would net profits of around 40M. It's not bad, but not the best value for the time required to achieve 99. However, if you are disinclined to employ your Barbarian Fishing drop method, this could be a good
OSRS GP relaxed alternative.
