A remake of Live a Live is set to be released exclusively on Nintendo Switch in July, while a remake version of
D2R Items is currently in the process of being made. There are a number of other games that could benefit from the style, and it will be fascinating to discover exactly what Square Enix does with HD-2D next. While the company has clearly invested in this graphic style, Asano went on to clarify that there is no currently a "definitive text," and it will remain evolving from the game's perspective.
"We haven't put together anything similar to that. The way it's expressed differs from title to title, so the HD-2D flavour will be different each time. When you play Live A Live for example The atmosphere of the prehistoric area will differ from the sci-fi scene.
The variety of our expressions has expanded thanks to the latest ideas we've come up with. "While the cost might be prohibitive for some developers,
D2R Ladder Items Buy clearly proved to be a draw for a lot of gamers. I hope we'll see Square Enix find new ways to improve the design to make more games to be released!
